Switching to Chloramination-May 3, 2017

In accordance with the PADEP permit number 6513521 dated May 2016, the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC) is notifying the Monroeville Municipal Authority that MAWC will be switching the disinfectant residual being supplied to the Authority to chloramines beginning May 3, 2017.  MAWC is required to provide 90 days' notice to the Authority prior to switching to chloramination.

MAWC will notify Monroeville Municipal Authority when MAWC will change the disinfectant residual back to a free chlorine residual.
