The Monroeville Municipal Authority Sewer Division continues to work on compliance with the DEP consent order. The work associated with this includes televising, mapping, and evaluating main sanitary sewer lines, manhole rehabilitation, and repairing problems found during this process. The dye testing phase of the consent order was completed in the summer of 2007. If you are planning on selling your home, please be advised that the dye testing completed in conjunction with the consent order does not fulfill the requirements of the home sale dye test. The MMA is currently involved in a re-lining contract with Independent Enterprises and is concentrating efforts on the defective lines which have been discovered to date. This work will not affect your water or sewer services. Please remember if you experience any sanitary sewer problems, call the Monroeville Municipal Authority before calling a plumber.
