In accordance with the PADEP permit number 6513521 dated May 2016, the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC) is notifying the Monroeville Municipal Authority that MAWC will be switching the disinfectant residual being supplied to the Authority to chloramines beginning May 3, 2017. Insight Pipe Contracting, LLC will be cleaning, televising, and relining approximately 8,500 linear feet of 8 to 15-inch diameter sanitary sewer line within the MMA service area. Partial funding for this project is being provided through a PA Small Water and Sewer Grant in the amount of $92,000.
